Trump makes new authorized supply to dam tax submitting disclosure to Congress

Donald Trump’s attorneys officially began renewed efforts on Wednesday to protect the former president’s tax returns from Congress after the Biden administration announced it would abide by a new legal memo from the Justice Department stating officials were complying with the requirements of the legislature had to comply with the documents.

DOJ law office on Friday overturned the results of a Trump-era memo against the release of returns to the House Ways and Means Committee, saying that tax officials should file the records under a provision in tax law. The Biden Administration said in court later that day that officials intended to follow OLC’s opinion but would give Trump’s lawyers an opportunity to litigate the issue.
