100 occasions within the US: Tax season updates cowl the most recent tax legal guidelines and provide CPE

Registration is now open for all 100+ Tax Season Updates events hosted by the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). These events are held across the country to reach tax professionals in all states. This event is also offered virtually, which Premium NATP members can attend for free.

Previously known as the 1040 Updates, these events are designed to help tax professionals understand the complexities of tax law so you can provide your clients with the excellence they deserve. Taught by a team of instructors with hands-on learning tools, this two-day workshop provides detailed, in-depth information on the latest laws and IRS updates. Participants end up receiving 16 CPE.

Each event provides information and analysis of the provisions of the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act and the impact of these provisions on US taxpayer clients. Students will learn to determine the tax treatment of various sources of income, apply inflation-adjusted amounts on individual returns 2021, and analyze the change in tax rules for certain credits and deductions, including the extended child tax credit and the third economic impact payment, including surcharge payments.

Registration also includes an on-demand webinar in January on any last-minute tax law changes, a quick start guide for the desk, a multi-page quick guide to tax law with flowcharts, an e-book with handouts from each session, and a certificate of completion.

The first live on-site events will begin on October 25, 2021 in Lakewood, Colorado; Bay City, Michigan; Memphis, Tennessee; Perrysburg, Ohio; Liverpool, New York; and Bismark, North Dakota.
