CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Cuyahoga County taxpayers who own property will have an additional week to pay taxes beginning in the first half of 2020 amid concerns about the postal service’s ability to deliver tax bills, government officials said Wednesday.
The deadline for paying real estate taxes for the first half of the year ends on January 28, 2021, according to a press release published on the district’s website. Tax bills will be sent to residents in the week of January 4, district officials said. However, according to the press release, invoices can also be viewed online.
“We are concerned that the postal service will not deliver real estate tax bills to the county residents in a timely manner,” said county treasurer W.
